ENT believe the alternative route from Clifton to Nottingham City centre via Queens Drive (CQD) is a better long term solution.

In addition to providing a better and fast service from Clifton to the city centre, it would also serve the retail and business parks along the route.

The forthcoming major redevelopment of the Royal Ordnance site will attract many new businesses. In turn this will create thousands of new jobs.

A tram route within this corridor will allow access to the workplace, businesses, shopping and pleasure for people from the whole of the tram network.

But perhaps more importantly, the CQD route will have a far less damaging impact on the environment.
