Hasn't NET been actively consulting with the public?

Experience of NET's consultation rounds, has provided little of the critical information that the public need to be able to make any value judgments.

NET has not been open with all the results of the consultation exercises. For example, NET states that people questioned in the latest poll were in favour of the Clifton via Wilford route. This is rather misleading since, in the latest poll, people were not given a choice of route. In NET's original poll (which they still haven't published) people from across Nottingham were given a choice and stated a clear preference for the route to Clifton via Queen's Drive. Clifton via Wilford was the least popular of the six main route options then under consideration. Consultation counts for nothing if the answers are ignored or hidden. In short, this is not the transparency one would expect of a body of this kind.

NET 'consultancy' has been nothing but a flag waving exercise.
