Why don't we use 'Bendy Buses'?

We do!!!

Bendy Buses are currently in operation in Nottingham serving both Arnold and Clifton.

Bendy Buses carry 97 people in air conditioned comfort and 'kneel' to kerb height when they stop to allow less mobile or wheelchair bound passengers easy access to their low level floor.

Nottingham City Transport have Bendy Buses currently running from Clifton to Nottingham, so if they work, why do we need a tram? If there isn't enough passenger demand, why do we need a tram?!!!

At a fraction of the cost of a Tram network, and with the flexibility buses bring (not on fixed rails and can change routes, and even the technology used can be readily updated), surely we should give Bendy Buses much more consideration, even if a bus lane is needed over the Clifton flyover and along Queens Drive.
